the Golden Girls is one of the most beloved TV shows of all time Golden Girls is winner of eleven Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe awards “The Golden Girls collection “show follows four friends Dorothy , Rose, Blanche and Sophia who move in together in an old fashioned house in Miami. Wittiness and humor are the main highlighted characteristics of this show. The actresses were so good at their character that it seems everything is happening in real .In the show Dorothy was a primary school teacher who is divorced After 38 years of happily married life. Her former husband has left her because of some younger women and is often paying Dorothy a visit to be consoled whenever something goes wrong in his life. Dorothy’s character end up when she marry Blanches’ uncle.
The other one is Rose who was from the small farming town of St. Olaf, Minnesota, a community of Scandinavian-Americans that was referred to by Dorothy as "the cradle of idiocy." Rose loves telling profoundly strange stories of life growing up there. Third character is of Belanche who is sort of sex addicted and is admired by many men .She is the owner of the house in which the four friends are living together. The fourth and the best character is of Sophia, Dorothy’s mother which is famous for her sarcacism and wittiness and is the one who adds more stars to the show.
All The episodes are full of humor and satire and opens door for many prevailing issues. At some places characters have deliberately tried to create humorous scenes but hits is not always the same? In many episodes namely 'The Operation' in which Dorothy gets inspired to look at life from a different angle and the first episode of Golden Girls dvd by the name 'The Engagement' portrays Sophia joining in with the other three women.
